President Donald Trump announced Saturday that he will appoint a czar to oversee artificial intelligence and will also create an AI task force, according to NBC News. Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, emphasizing the importance of AI and the need to monitor its use.

Trump stated, 'We will not in any way hinder or stifle the growth of this incredible industry. Rather, we will cherish it, help it, and watch over it, as it grows. However, we will also be looking for BAD, and we can do that, very easily, with our already existing Criminal and Civil Justice System.' He compared the AI Force to the Space Force, which he called a 'tremendous SUCCESS.
