Though I Am an Inept Villainess Adds New Cast for January 2027 Return

In Short: Toho Co., Ltd. has revealed the first major details for the upcoming second part of the 'Though I Am an Inept Villainess' anime series, set to debut in January 2027.

Joining the voice cast are Yuichi Nakamura as Rerien’s eldest brother Keikou and Shunichi Toki as her second-eldest brother Keishou, alongside Chiaki Kobayashi as Unran, the young leader of a village in the southern territories.

The series will kick off the 'The First Royal Outing' Arc, introducing a new cast of characters alongside Kou Reirin and Shu Keigetsu.

Toho Animation and Dōga Kōbō confirmed the Part 2 release window for 'Though I Am an Inept Villainess' as the anime ends its initial 10-episode run on Sunday, September 10.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes both the light novels and manga under the title 'Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court.

The upcoming Magic Knight Rayearth anime remake unveiled a new trailer featuring the opening and ending theme songs and four additional cast members.

Background

Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court is a Japanese light novel series written by Satsuki Nakamura. The series originated on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in July 2020, before being acquired and published in print with illustrations by Kana Yuki by Ichijinsha beginning in December of that same year.
