SETT’s director general, Javier Ponce, and audiovisual director María Coronado provided insights into the fund’s operations and objectives.
According to Ponce, SETT is a public investment entity that focuses on transformative sectors, including the audiovisual industry.
The Spain Audiovisual Hub Fund, managed by SETT, is part of Spain’s Recovery Plan and is financed through the European Union’s Next Generation funds.
SETT offers financing and equity or quasi-equity investments to companies in the audiovisual sector, either directly or through financial intermediaries.
The rationale behind SETT’s co-investment model is to leverage public funds to attract additional private investment and support the growth of Spanish audiovisual companies.
