CEO Alfonso Gómez Palacio, in his first public appearance, emphasized the company's dedication to supporting Spanish cinema and television. "We want Movistar Plus to be the most relevant platform for our clients and Spain’s audiovisual industry," Gómez Palacio said.

Paco León, known for his work in “Aida” and “The House of Flowers,” is developing a project at Movistar Plus, adding to the platform's roster of high-profile directors and creators.
