MEA Invites Applications for 2026 Internship

In Short: The Ministry of External Affairs has set September 27 as the deadline for applications for its October 2026 to March 2027 internship program.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has issued a notice inviting applications for its internship program, which will run from October 2026 to March 2027. The last date to apply is September 27, 2026.
The MEA internship portal, internship.mea.gov.in, will host the application process. Students in their final year of college or recent graduates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply.
Additionally, students in their final year of an undergraduate program, where an internship is a mandatory component of their curriculum, are also eligible to apply.
The MEA will release a list of shortlisted candidates on October 7, 2026, after the online selection process is completed.

- In order to be eligible, candidates are required to be Indian citizens and have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university at the time of applying.
