Liberal Democrat deputy leader Daisy Cooper unveiled a 30-page growth plan at the party's conference in Brighton, aimed at removing barriers to business growth.
She proposed creating a new Department for Growth to simplify red tape and help small and medium-sized businesses compete and grow.
Cooper also outlined a new Growth and Defence Partnership with the EU, which she described as the 'single biggest growth lever we could pull' to deepen ties with Europe.
The plan aims to reverse the economic damage caused by Brexit and 'turbo-charge' the UK economy.
