The AP sued and was later allowed into the daily print pool rotation, made up of more than 30 outlets.
Trump threatened in his Truth Social announcement that “Other Fake News Media Outlets” would henceforth be banned and specifically called out the Washington Post and New York Times in the Oval Office.
“ We’re probably not going to display the paper anymore in the White House, those papers, but we haven’t taken the step of throwing them out. But they’re fake news, totally,” he said.
