The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has elected writers from 'Big Mouth,' 'Baywatch,' and 'The Bold Type' to its board of directors, adding fresh voices to the union's leadership.
Andrew Goldberg, known for his work on 'Big Mouth' and 'Mating Season,' Mark Swift, who contributed to 'Baywatch,' and Nikita Hamilton, a writer on 'A Million Little Things' and 'The Bold Type,' were among the newly elected members.
In addition to these new faces, five incumbent board members—Melinda Hsu, Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Chris Hazzard, Cathryn Humphris, and Danny Tolli—were re-elected to serve another two-year term.
The new and re-elected board members will join a leadership team headed by union president Michele Mulroney, vice president Travis Donnelly, and secretary-treasurer Peter Murrieta, who did not face re-election this year.
The election process was overseen by Votenet Solutions and the WGA West’s tellers committee, ensuring a fair and transparent vote.
