In Short: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has rejected candidates' requests for revising UPTET 2026 scores due to OMR errors and normalisation procedures.

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has rejected candidates' requests for revising UPTET 2026 scores arising from errors in filling OMR sheets and normalisation of marks, according to reports.

The UPESSC conducted the exam in multiple shifts, and the result was prepared using the normalisation process mentioned in the examination notification, a process that the Commission said was used scientifically through high-level software.

The Commission has, however, allowed online correction of certain errors in the certificates of successful candidates, according to The Indian Express.

Interns of the MBBS batch 2021 at SKIMS Medical College in Jammu and Kashmir have escalated their protest over the demand for revision of their internship stipend, insisting on a formal written order from the administration.
