Netflix’s Monsters Explores Lizzie Borden Mystery in New Season

In Short: Netflix is set to delve into one of America's most enduring murder mysteries with 'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story,' premiering on September 17, 2026.
The eight-part series, starring Ella Beatty as Lizzie Borden, will explore her life within a deeply restrictive Victorian household and the events leading up to the gruesome murders of her father and stepmother in 1892.
The show will also delve into Borden's relationship with the family's live-in maid, Bridget 'Maggie' Sullivan, played by Vickey Krieps.
The series is part of Netflix's ongoing True Crime anthology, which has previously revisited the stories of Jeffrey Dahmer, the Menendez brothers, and Ed Gein.
