Tuttle, who released the pop-inflected album So Long Little Miss Sunshine earlier this year, picked up her first artist of the year win.
Brandi Carlile and I’m With Her then joined forces to honor Dolly Parton with a rendition of her hit “Coat of Many Colors,” drawing a standing ovation from the crowd.
Other notable performances included Jesse Welles, who brought the crowd to its feet with “The Nerd Reich,” while Carlile delivered a powerful performance of “Returning To Myself,” joined by Sista Strings.
Lifetime Achievement honors were awarded to Dolly Parton, Emmy winner Hargitay, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, with Parton’s passing just weeks before the ceremony.
