The Indian School of Business (ISB) has secured the fifth position in LinkedIn's Top MBA Programs 2026, with seven Indian institutions featured in the top 100, according to The Indian Express. ISB is the highest-ranked Indian institution on the list, alongside other top Indian business schools such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Calcutta.
LinkedIn's ranking evaluates programmes across several measures, including career advancement, hiring demand, leadership potential, network strength, and gender diversity. The ranking highlights the global nature of MBA education and professional networks, with 88% of professionals surveyed considering their network important for navigating their careers.
The Indian Express reports that 63% of professionals have not been clearly shown how to build professional relationships or grow their network, underscoring the need for students to consider these factors alongside traditional ranking metrics when choosing an MBA programme.
ISB's fifth-place ranking and the presence of seven Indian institutions in the top 100 reflect the growing global recognition of Indian business education, according to LinkedIn.
