The Indian School of Business (ISB) has secured the fifth position and is the highest-ranked Indian institution on the list, according to LinkedIn’s Top MBA Programs 2026. This ranking is part of a growing trend that highlights the global nature of MBA education and professional networks.

ISB ranks 5th globally, and Indian business schools make up a significant portion of the top 100, doubling the number of Indian schools in the top 35 from The Financial Times, according to Poets&Quants.

LinkedIn’s ranking, which evaluates programmes based on career advancement, hiring demand, leadership potential, network strength, and gender diversity, reflects the increasing importance of alumni career trajectories in MBA program rankings.

The Indian Express reported that 53 of the 100 programmes are located outside the US, and 88% of professionals surveyed consider their network important for navigating their careers, highlighting the global nature of MBA education and the value of professional networks.
