Partisans claim sabotage at Russian plant producing missile components

In Short: A pro-Ukrainian partisan movement, ATESH, claimed to have sabotaged the power supply to a Russian semiconductor plant in Voronezh, disrupting production of electronic components used in missiles and air defense systems.
The movement's agent reportedly infiltrated an electrical substation near the Voronezh Semiconductor Devices Plant-Sborka (VZPP-S) and destroyed the main distribution cabinet, causing a major voltage surge and shutting down production workshops.
The reported sabotage comes after the VZPP-S facility was previously struck in a Ukrainian attack in June, according to ATESH.
The group claims the outage lasted weeks, delaying deliveries of components and, consequently, production of missiles and air defense systems.
Ukrainian military intelligence lists the company as part of Russia’s defense-industrial supply chain, producing components for Kh-101 cruise missiles, Iskander-K missiles, and Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
ATESH, which recruits local residents and Russian military personnel, delayed the publication of its claim to protect the safety of its agents.
The movement's claims have not been independently verified, but they suggest that targeting such suppliers can significantly disrupt Russia's ability to sustain its missile campaign.
The VZPP-S is a Russian producer of semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and power modules, and the disruption to its operations could have wide-ranging effects on Russia's military capabilities.
