Ministry grows for “Church’s most important institution”
Developing
In Short: Miller, a key figure in the Church's ministry, emphasized the importance of upholding the ordained authority within the Church, stating, 'the way the Lord ordained authority in the Church is something 'we never want to work around' or apart from.
This recent gathering, the first in two years, brought together a diverse group of Catholic personalities, highlighting the organization's commitment to fostering equality and growth among all members of the Church community.
Building on the organization's mission to make the Church excellent, new initiatives such as Parish Individual Leadership Coaching and Parish School Coaching are being launched, inspired by the need to help parishioners discern their roles in leading their communities differently.
These coaching programs, explained Miller, involve working alongside individuals to help them reflect on their environments and lives, identifying where the Lord might be calling them to lead differently. The inspiration for these programs follows in line with Amazing Parish's longstanding goal of enhancing the Church's effectiveness.
What's still developing
- Miller said the way the Lord ordained authority in the Church is something “we never want to work around” or apart from.
- Where do most people have the opportunity to encounter Christ?
- Miller has extensive ministry experience, both as a FOCUS missionary and diocesan ministry leader.
- Pat Lancioni and John Martin started the organization as two successful businessmen who loved the Church but knew parishes “needed more.” They sensed solid business principles could be effective but that adapting and applying them to parish culture was necessary.
