The Latin Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, with hitmaker Edgar Barrera leading the field with 10 nominations. This year, the nominations span 60 categories, covering recordings released from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. Other major contenders include CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Jorge Drexler, Karol G, and Rosalía, each with seven nominations.

Barrera, known for his work with artists like Karol G and Becky G, earned recognition across multiple categories, including two Song of the Year nominations. His nominations also include Producer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, who scored another major showing after earning 10 nominations in 2025, and Rosalía and Karol G also landed nominations across the general field.

The 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will take place on November 12th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will air live on Univision. The nominations reflect the evolving nature of the Latin music industry, with categories like Best Portuguese Language Urban Performance now called Best Portuguese Language Urban Album and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance renamed to Best Electronic Music Performance.

The Latin Recording Academy also announced that Silvana Estrada and Mon Laferte are among the year's most recognized artists, with six nominations each, while Milo J received five. The nominations span a wide range of genres, including pop, alternative, singer-songwriter, música mexicana, and more.
