In Short: Former Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma has signed with Ajax on a deal until the end of the season, following the expiration of his contract with the north London club.

Ex-Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma has joined Ajax on a deal that runs until the end of the season, following the expiration of his contract with the north London club, according to reports from the BBC.

Ajax technical director Jordi Cruyff confirmed that they had been in talks with Bissouma since August.

Bissouma, who made 111 appearances for Tottenham, was left out of the squad by then-manager Thomas Frank for a match against Paris St-Germain in August 2025 due to persistent lateness.

Chelsea and Manchester City were among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Bissouma, but he has opted to join Ajax instead.
