Tech giant JustWatch is expanding its reach into the streaming market with the launch of JustWatch TV, a new service that will offer a range of TV shows and movies from select distributors and production houses.

Available in October, the service will feature three options: a free ad-based streaming service, titles available for rent or purchase, and a paid subscription offering. Initial content partners include Fremantle, Paramount, and Bleecker Street.

JustWatch TV will integrate seamlessly with the existing JustWatch platform, providing users with a one-stop solution for content discovery and access. If a title isn't available on JustWatch TV, the app will direct users to other platforms like Hulu or Netflix.

The service will launch in the US and several European countries, including France, Germany, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand, marking a significant step for JustWatch in the competitive streaming landscape.

David Croyé, founder and CEO of the JustWatch Group, stated, 'With the launch of JustWatch TV, we aim to make content discovery, access, and engagement even easier.' This move builds on the company's core mission of helping viewers find the titles they want to watch.
