General Motors is updating the software experience in its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks, introducing a new user interface that includes picture-in-picture phone projection for the first time. This feature is designed to reduce the amount of dangerous tapping and swiping required to access essential controls while driving.

In a related development, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched a new Aadhaar Face Authentication Software Development Kit (SDK) and a dedicated sandbox, allowing financial-sector entities to integrate Aadhaar-based face authentication directly into their mobile applications. The SDK brings UIDAI’s face authentication capability directly into native Android and iOS applications.
