Samsung has released the second beta build of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S24 series, bringing new AI features and improvements. According to SammyGuru, the update includes bug fixes and stability improvements, as well as new AI features that were first introduced with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 lineup. These features include My FanCam, Call Brief, and custom Now Brief cards, making the software feel more intelligent and personalized.
The update is rolling out to eligible Galaxy S24 series devices enrolled in Samsung’s beta program, following the release of Beta 2 to the Galaxy S25 series, Fold 7, and Flip 7 last week. The new One UI 9 beta brings a mix of bug fixes, improvements, and new AI features, expanding on the capabilities of the latest foldables.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has begun rolling out a fresh batch of features to Xbox Series X and Series S consoles via the Xbox Insider program, with wider availability expected before the end of the year. The new features include improved Remote Play streaming, clearer voice chat, customizable startup animations, and more profile badge controls.
Xbox Series X|S users in the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha Insider rings can test streaming at resolutions of up to 1440p, alongside higher video bitrates. Additionally, players can select from startup animations dating back to the Xbox One generation through the current Xbox Series X|S era, rather than being restricted to a single animation. Profile customization also gets a small boost, allowing players to select up to five badges to display on their profile card and hide individual badges from public view.
