In Short: Apple has rolled out iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, bringing new features and design changes to its devices.

Apple has refreshed its retail stores, including its flagship Victoria Gardens location in California, with a new design that includes a reinstated Genius Bar and dedicated Apple Pickup and Today at Apple bays. The latest software updates for iOS and iPadOS, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, are now available, offering a range of new features and improvements.

According to reports, the updates won't make as significant an impact as the previous major redesign but still introduce several enhancements that could change how users interact with their devices. Apple has also made changes to its support list, dropping some older devices from the latest software updates, a common practice to ensure smoother performance.

TechCrunch reports that Apple has unveiled the latest generation of its wireless earbuds, the AirPods 5, which feature improved audio, stronger active noise cancellation, and expanded Siri and Apple Intelligence capabilities. The AirPods 5 also come with a new volume control feature on the stem, a first for the AirPods lineup.

Apple has retired the 'generations' moniker for its iPad models, instead using the chipset to denote the model. The company has also introduced 25% off tickets for its annual Disrupt event, where it unveiled the AirPods 5, making them available at a discounted price.
