Legendary UK producer Jeremy Thomas, who brought films such as 'The Last Emperor' and 'Sexy Beast' to screens, has died at the age of 77.
Born Jeremy Jack Thomas on July 26, 1949, in London, Thomas came from a film family. His father directed the Doctor series, and his uncle helmed the Carry On franchise.
Throughout his six-decade career, Thomas worked with international directors including Bernardo Bertolucci, David Cronenberg, and Matteo Garrone, producing over 80 films.
Thomas was also known for his collaborations with Bertolucci, including 'The Sheltering Sky', 'Little Buddha', 'Stealing Beauty', and 'The Dreamers'.
