Apple is set to unveil a folding iPhone at its annual launch event, according to reports. The device is expected to appeal to iPhone Pro users and early adopters, with a larger display than any previous Apple phone.

However, the event will also feature other products, including the iPhone 18, which will integrate more AI capabilities and maintain user privacy, according to Apple's Ternus. The new iPhone 18 will include a powerful A20 chip with a six-core CPU design, making it up to 20% faster.

The camera on the iPhone 18 will offer cinematic effects from regular video captured on the phone, as well as new options for manual controls and 'smart focus tracking,' which allows users to focus on a single moving subject. Apple is also rolling out the AirPods 5, priced at $129, with better noise-cancellation technology than previous versions.

In addition, Apple is launching a new Apple Watch, starting at $399, with more health sensors that can provide more accurate heart rate readings. Analysts believe the relatively modest price increase across Apple's latest flagship line-up will come as a relief to consumers.

The event will also feature the iPhone Duo, which has the largest display of any Apple phone. Analysts predict that the foldable could be a major hit for Apple, and this is the right time to go after the new hardware chapter under Ternus.
