In addition to the foldable iPhone, the event will also feature the AirPods 5, priced at $129, with better noise-cancellation technology, and a new Apple Watch, starting at $399, with more health sensors. The iPhone 18 will include a new A20 chip with a six-core CPU design, making the smartphone up to 20% faster. The camera will offer cinematic effects and new options for manual controls and smart focus tracking.
The event is particularly notable because it marks the first major iPhone presentation under John Ternus, who became Apple's chief executive earlier this month after Tim Cook moved into the role of executive chairman.
