French TV disruptor Jeremy Zag, known for creating the animated series Miraculous, is expanding his universe with a live-action adaptation and a new series of Drag Race UK.

According to Deadline, the live-action version of Miraculous will maintain the DNA that fans love, with Katy Perry playing a main character and working on the story and songs.

Zag Entertainment, his studio, is also making progress on an animated feature film with Katy Perry, titled Melody.

Zag was honored as Deadline’s 2026 French TV Disruptor, recognizing his work in creating animated series and movies that have traveled the world.

In addition to the live-action series, Zag is also teasing a new live-action Miraculous series, aiming to create a Zag World that spans TV, film, games, and merch.

The live-action series of Roji's Ao to Midori manga, directed by Nao Nomura and Hitomi Kitagawa, will premiere on October 5, with Ayumi Shimo penning the scripts.

The webtoon-based live-action series Mousetrap, based on the Field Mouse webtoon, has topped Netflix's global Top 10 chart for non-English TV shows, with 4.4 million views in 45 countries.
