Actress Sheridan Smith, singer Beverley Knight, and pop duo Ward Thomas will take to the stage for the Last Night of the Proms in a tribute to country superstar Dolly Parton, who died in August at the age of 80 following a brief battle with cancer. The final show will include the programme, To Dolly, With Love, honoring Parton's legacy.

The tribute at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday is part of a star-studded lineup, including comedian Alan Carr, who received the Special Recognition prize at the 31st National Television Awards. His co-star Charlotte Church praised the show's final, which attracted 15 million viewers within seven days.

Country music star Bill Anderson, a longtime friend of Dolly Parton, joins 'America’s Newsroom' to remember the legendary singer. Anderson shares personal memories of Parton, reflecting on her iconic career, generosity, and lasting legacy. Her sister, Stella Parton, revealed that Dolly kept her cancer diagnosis a secret to avoid worrying her fans and family.

The tribute at the Last Night of the Proms is part of a broader celebration of Parton's life and work, including a retrospective at the Beyond Fest, which unveiled its full 2026 slate, featuring a day-long in-person tribute to Bruce Dern and special screenings of David Lynch’s films.
