Greece's industrial production fell by 1.2% year-over-year in July, a decline from the previous 1.1% growth. This downbeat data from Germany, where factory output dropped 1.1% in July, adds to concerns about the Eurozone's economic recovery.

Despite these positive revisions, the German industrial production figures and Greece's industrial output decline have put downward pressure on the Euro. The EUR/GBP pair is testing support at 0.8585, a previous resistance area, after failing to find acceptance above 0.8600 last week.
