Following an endless cycle of leaks, Apple finally unveiled its first-ever foldable yesterday, dubbed the iPhone Duo.

One Galaxy Z Fold 8 owner appears to have taken this as a challenge, with Reddit user moomanjohnny sharing a video showing what appears to be iPhone Duo-like animations while switching back and forth between the cover screen and the inner display of Samsung’s recent foldable.

While these animations appear similar to the iPhone Duo, the creator says reproducing this at scale may not be possible right now, according to Android Authority.

Initial impressions suggest the Cupertino-based company may have the edge over the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in some areas.
The Samsung foldable also lacks the smooth folding/unfolding transition animation we saw on Apple’s latest offering.
The iPhone Duo has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, beating Samsung and tying Google.
Samsung's latest Galaxy Z Fold8 models have an IP48 dust and water resistance rating, which means they aren't able to hold up to dust as well.
Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold also has an IP68 rating.
IP6X for dust means the ‌iPhone Duo‌ is "dust-tight" and no dust is able to get in.
IP68 is the same dust and water resistance rating as other iPhones, and dust matters because it can get into the hinges of foldables and cause damage.
The ‌iPhone Duo‌ has other durability features, including a titanium frame, titanium hinge cover, and 10-layer display.
