Langley's nominations include two for single of the year, 'Choosin' Texas' and 'Be Her,' making her the eighth artist in CMA history to achieve this feat.
Miranda Lambert's new nominations have earned her the most Female Vocalist of the Year nominations of all time with 19, and she is currently the most-winning female in CMA Awards history with 14 wins. She could become the first female to win three Entertainer of the Year Awards, and she has the chance to become the second female to win Female Vocalist of the Year five years in a row.
The awards will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, on November 18, with the event airing on ABC, Disney+, and the next day on Hulu. The nominations were confirmed by the Country Music Association, with Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, stating, 'For six decades, the CMA Awards have celebrated excellence in Country Music.
According to reports, Ella Langley's nominations include both as an artist and co-producer of her hits 'Choosin' Texas' and 'Be Her,' with both songs co-produced with Miranda Lambert and Ben West. In three of the seven previous cases where an artist had two single of the year nominations in the same year, that artist won with one of their nominated hits, though many believe such a phenomenon exists.
