Actress Sheridan Smith, singer Beverley Knight, and pop duo Ward Thomas will take to the stage for the Last Night of the Proms in a tribute to country superstar Dolly Parton, who died in August at 80 following a brief battle with cancer, according to reports. The final show will include the programme, To Dolly, With Love, honoring Parton's legacy.

The tribute is part of the Last Night of the Proms, which will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, with a programme dedicated to the legendary singer. Her death inspired tributes on social media from fans around the world, including musicians and actors, something her sister Stella Parton says the '9 to 5' star would have been happy with.

Stella Parton shared in an interview with CBS Mornings that Dolly did not go public with her cancer diagnosis because she 'did not want people sad,' revealing she didn't even share the news with her entire family. 'Well, Dolly did not want anybody to tell that, because Dolly could not bear negative things, and she would not have wanted her fans worried about it,' she said.

Country music star Bill Anderson, who joins 'America’s Newsroom' to remember Parton, shares personal memories of the country music legend and reflects on her iconic career, generosity, and lasting legacy. Her success as a country music star and her philanthropic efforts are highlighted in the tribute.
