The firm, which employs roughly 1,300 people, appointed administrators from Interpath on September 8. According to the company, the closures and job cuts are a response to recent economic challenges, including cost inflation and fragile consumer confidence.
Administrators from Interpath confirmed that while the company is in administration, it will continue to operate. The firm said it will keep its network of 17 distribution centres and 48 remaining trade counters open while a restructuring process is carried out.
