Emergency slide deployment on Air Force One raised questions at Joint Base Andrews before President Donald Trump explained it was part of a safety check.

According to Fox News, the White House print pool first spotted the inflatable emergency slide deployed from the right-side front door of the aircraft.

Trump later emerged from the helicopter and stated that the equipment had been tested to ensure it was working properly, indicating no emergency had occurred.

The older white-and-blue Air Force One was seen moving out of its hangar, suggesting it might be used for the president's next flight, though it was unclear if the safety check would affect this decision.
