Scientists have created a new form of ice at temperatures exceeding 2,357 degrees Celsius, a discovery that challenges previous understandings of ice formation. This ice, formed under pressures up to 2.3 million atmospheres, is one of the weirdest forms of ice yet documented, according to reports from ScienceAlert.

In a related development, scientists are also exploring the existence of dark matter, with one study revealing potential evidence of dark matter particles, though the findings have yet to undergo peer review. The research, conducted over two years by 250 scientists from 39 institutions, used the world's most sensitive dark matter detector, LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ), to search for these elusive particles.
