Patrick Clancy's legal team is pushing back against online speculation and false claims about his role in the deaths of his three children. Howard Cooper, an attorney representing Clancy, issued a detailed statement to CBS Boston, alleging that his client has faced a relentless and destructive defamation campaign. The loss of his children, Cooper said, is something from which Clancy will never recover.

According to reports, the campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, influencers, and conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit. These claims have surfaced even as Lindsay Clancy's murder trial ended without a verdict.

Internet sleuths started speculating that perhaps it wasn't Lindsay who murdered their three children after all, despite her already acknowledging her guilt. TikTokers, Redditors, and Facebookers all shared their opinions regarding Patrick, with some blaming him for the deaths of his children.

Clancy's attorney has threatened legal action against those spreading these false claims, stating, 'Every appropriate measure will be pursued to hold them accountable.' The goal is to stop injurious behavior, create accountability for lies, and allow Clancy to focus on preserving the memory of his children and supporting other women facing perinatal mental health challenges.
