Beyond Fest has announced its 2026 lineup, featuring 81 films, including 10 world premieres and 4 North American premieres, for a festival that runs from September 23 to October 6. The event, presented by MUBI and programmed in partnership with the American Cinematheque, will take place at the Egyptian Theatre, the MUBI Theatre at the Aero, Directors Village, and the MUBI Theatre at the Los Feliz 3. All ticket sales will benefit the 501(c)(3) non-profit film institution.

Evrim Ersoy, Beyond Fest Head of Programming, stated, 'Beyond Fest has always existed to erase the false borders between arthouse and grindhouse, the brand new and the gloriously rediscovered.' The festival will open with Lance Oppenheim’s 'Primetime' and close with Bassam Tariq’s 'Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,' both Los Angeles-set genre films. The lineup also includes buzzy titles like 'V/H/S Mixtape,' 'Look Back,' and 'Beware Boiúna.

Chris LeMaire, American Cinematheque’s Director of Programming, added, 'Beyond Fest is at its most exciting when a world premiere, a radical new filmmaker, a 70mm epic and a once-in-a-lifetime tribute can all exist within the same program.' The festival will also feature a retrospective of Robert Eggers’ work, with an exclusive look at materials from the film 'Werwulf.

Highlights of the lineup include 'Primetime,' 'Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,' 'V/H/S Mixtape,' and 'Beware Boiúna,' alongside special appearances from M. For the latest developments, visit the Beyond Fest official site at www.beyondfest.com and follow them on Instagram, Facebook & X.
