The suspect, identified as Rohan Parekh, was reportedly carrying a fake PMO identity card when he was stopped during a security check.
The Mumbai Crime Branch is now investigating why the two men allegedly tried to enter the venue using a forged identity card while one of them was carrying a weapon. The incident occurred on Tuesday, the same day the Prime Minister was in Mumbai for the Fintech event in the BKC area.
