Spice Girls Ginger and Baby Spice have unveiled a new Dunkin' ad where they reveal a secret former bandmate, played by SNL alum Rachel Dratch, who the other members won't talk to. The ad, which aired during the Telluride Film Festival, features the duo in a mock documentary-style interview, with Dratch dressed in a puffy orange getup sipping a pumpkin-flavored iced latte.

In the ad, Baby Spice reveals, 'A lot of people don’t know we originally had a sixth member.' Dratch, who has previously joked about the timing of Pumpkin Spice being ahead of its time, says, 'Maybe a little too seasonal, but definitely ahead of the curve.' The commercial comes as Dunkin' welcomes its autumnal offerings, including pumpkin spice, pie, and patch latte flavors.

The Spice Girls, who were formed in 2023 as part of the online reality competition show The Debut: Dream Academy, received a hero's welcome in the UK with only two-thirds of the original members present. The ad was filmed in Los Angeles and was part of the brand's fall flavor campaign.

According to reports, the ad was well-received by fans, who were thrilled to see the Spice Girls perform their first full concert in the UK. The commercial also featured the Spice Girls' Geri Halliwell-Horner and Emma Bunton, who talked about the secret former member in a mock documentary-style interview.

The commercial was part of Dunkin's fall flavor campaign, which includes pumpkin spice, pie, and patch latte flavors as well as pumpkin bakery treats. In a statement, Dratch said, 'Getting to bring Pumpkin Spice back with Emma and Geri for Dunkin' was so much fun.' The ad was filmed during the Telluride Film Festival and was part of the brand's marketing strategy for the fall season.
