Julia Roberts will reprise her stage presence in Bess Wohl's 'Small Mouth Sounds,' a play set at a silent retreat where participants struggle to maintain silence, premiering next spring at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
The production, directed by Joe Mantello, will also feature Martin Freeman, Greta Lee, Sarah Paulson, Isaac Powell, and Paul Rudd, marking the second play of the Broadway season under producer Scott Rudin.
Small Mouth Sounds, which explores the dynamics of a group at a silent retreat, is set to begin performances on February 18, 2027, with opening night on March 18.
In an effort to boost attendance, producer Scott Rudin is offering a discount ticketing deal for patrons who purchase tickets to both 'Downstate' and 'Small Mouth Sounds.
