'I didn't want to leave The Voice', says Sir Tom Jones

Sir Tom Jones, the legendary Welsh singer, has vehemently denied that he wanted to leave The Voice, a popular singing competition he has been a part of since its inception in 2012.
Jones, known for hits like 'Delilah' and 'She’s A Lady,' claims that ITV made the decision to remove him from his coaching role due to 'financial difficulty with insurance,' a claim ITV has not yet addressed.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Jones expressed his love for the show and his appreciation for the audience, stating, 'To be clear, I did not want to leave The Voice as I love the show and really appreciate the audience.
The 86-year-old singer is currently appearing on the 14th season of The Voice UK, alongside will.i.am, Kelly Rowland, and McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, with rumors suggesting he may not return for the 2027 series.
