Sydney’s THE WORKS, a popular summer dance calendar event, is set to return to Carriageworks with a series of warehouse parties in December and January. The series, which launched in 2025, will feature a diverse range of electronic music acts, including Armand Van Helden, KI/KI, Overmono, Pegassi, Sam Alfred, and Job Jobse.
Pegassi will kick off the series with a sold-out all-night-long show on December 5, followed by Armand Van Helden on New Year’s Eve. The latter, known for his influential house music tracks such as 'You Don’t Know Me' and his work with A-Trak in Duck Sauce, will headline the New Year’s Eve bill. According to reports, the series will also include performances by Overmono on January 8, with the Welsh brothers bringing their unique sound to the warehouse.
The Works, organized by Finely Tuned, will present large-scale electronic music shows at Carriageworks, a cavernous space that has become a staple for Sydney’s dance music scene. The event series will span across house, techno, trance, UK garage, and rave genres, offering a comprehensive experience for electronic music enthusiasts. Presales for the events began on September 15 at 10 a.m.
In addition to Armand Van Helden, the lineup includes Grammy-nominated Jayda G and Ewan McVicar, who will perform back-to-back with salute. The series will continue with performances by Sam Alfred and Job Jobse, making January 2026 a busy month for electronic music fans in Sydney.
The Works has established itself as a significant player in Sydney’s electronic music scene, offering a platform for both established and emerging artists. With a diverse and exciting lineup, the series promises to be a highlight of Sydney’s dance music calendar for the upcoming months.
