Apple Releases iOS 26.6.2 Ahead of iPhone Launch Event

Alongside iOS 26.6.2, Apple has also released iPadOS 26.6.2 for iPad with the same bug fix, indicating that the company is nearing the end of its beta testing process for the upcoming software releases.
Apple is expected to move to release candidate versions next week, following its September 9 iPhone event, and has already released the sixth public beta of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, and macOS Golden Gate.
