Campanile's claims follow similar criticisms from other former employees, including longtime correspondent Scott Pelley, who was also fired shortly after Campanile. The network has pushed back on these claims, characterizing them as part of the editorial process. A spokesperson declined to comment, pointing to past statements that the accusations from former employees were not true.
