WWE Announces Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches for Raw
Confirmed
In Short: WWE has confirmed the qualifying matches for tonight's episode of WWE Raw, setting the stage for the upcoming Money in the Bank event.
The company announced the men’s and women’s qualifying matches for tonight’s show on WWE Raw, according to reports. The men’s qualifying bout will see Bron Breakker, Rey Mysterio, and Ethan Page compete, while the women’s qualifying bout will feature Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Maxxine Dupri.
Qualifying for the men’s and women’s ladder matches will begin with a pair of triple threat bouts on tonight’s Raw, as WWE officially starts building toward Money in the Bank on October 10. The matches come as WWE aims to determine which wrestlers will secure a spot in the highly anticipated event.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, WWE currently has two Triple Threat qualifiers planned for the show, with spots in both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches on the line. This gives WWE three very different names fighting over one ticket to Money in the Bank, with only one of them expected to move on.
The road to Money in the Bank officially kicks off with these qualifying matches, and the event will continue on Raw and SmackDown over the next few weeks leading into the Pay-Per-View (PPV).
