Trump's Economic Boom: Jobs Report Challenges Narrative, Polls Show Skepticism

Confirmed

Politics Desk

In Short: President Trump's economic narrative faces challenges as a solid jobs report is met with skepticism from voters and poll results show high distrust in his administration.

But let me say right here that President Trump’s economic boom has become the greatest story never told, but the story is factual, according to reports from Fox Business.

Productivity, profits, stocks, consumers, and the hard goods industry are all booming, with durable goods rising at double-digit gains.

Right on cue, the press got ready to print a bad jobs report for August, and then SLAM, the number comes out up 162,000, including 55,000 upward revisions for June and July, the actual job gain in August was more than 217,000.

Despite these gains, Trump took office with private jobs going by more than a million, while federal jobs have declined by more than 300,000.

Meanwhile, manufacturing and construction and goods-producing jobs keep rising, and the employment to population ratio moved up to 59.1 percent from 58.9 percent.

Voters’ opinion of the economy has mostly hardened, and fresh polling found that more than 90% of Americans believe corruption is rampant in Trump’s government, even as the president spends hundreds of millions of dollars on vanity projects across the capital.
