SNL UK Adds Freddie Meredith to Season 2 Cast
Confirmed
In Short: Freddie Meredith, known for his roles in 'Such Brave Girls' and 'Big Boys,' joins the cast of 'Saturday Night Live UK' for its second season.

The second season of "Saturday Night Live UK" is set to premiere on September 12, with Jeff Goldblum hosting and Irish singer-songwriter CMAT as the musical guest. The show, produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK production team and Broadway Video for Sky and NOW, will air 12 episodes, four more than the first season.
Meredith's background in theater and comedy has prepared him well for the role. He trained at drama school and began working professionally in theater, eventually transitioning to comedy and stand-up. His previous work includes roles in "Such Brave Girls" and "Big Boys," and he recently debuted his Edinburgh Fringe show, which earned him a nomination for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for best newcomer.
The show's second season will continue to feature guest hosts and musical guests, with notable hosts from the first season including Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed, and Ted Lasso actor Hannah Waddingham. The additional episodes are planned for early 2027, ensuring that the show will continue to entertain audiences for years to come.
