The Inbetweeners original cast is reuniting for a third film, with production starting today. Netflix has confirmed that Will, Simon, Neil, and Jay will return to their iconic roles, alongside the show's creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, who will also direct the movie. The film will follow the story of the characters from their original sitcom, with the promise of no problemos, as the creators put it.

Production began on Monday, with the same four actors and the same two writers who built the show in the first place. The Inbetweeners ended its Channel 4 run in 2010, and the two films that followed felt like a proper full stop. However, Netflix has now announced that the sequel is back, with the same cast and creators, promising to bring back the fun and humor that made the original series a hit.

The first film made history as the biggest opening weekend for a UK comedy at the time, according to Netflix, while the sequel also broke box office records. The Inbetweeners 3 will be a continuation of the story, with the iconic quartet reuniting for a new adventure. The film is set to follow the characters as they navigate new challenges and adventures, with the same energy and humor that fans have come to love.

Emily Atack, who starred as Charlotte "Big Jugs" Hinchcliffe in the series, will not be appearing alongside the lads in the new film. The actress was axed from the Inbetweeners reunion five years ago following a 'past fling' with co-star James Buckley. Despite this, the group got together for The Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited special on Channel 4 in 2019, but the special was widely panned as an awkward, cringeworthy disaster that left fans disappointed and Buckley publicly apologising.

The Inbetweeners 3 is set to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans, with the original cast and creators bringing back the humor and energy that made the original series a hit. With production already underway, fans can look forward to seeing the iconic quartet back on screen, with the promise of no problemos.
