Humphries beats Greaves as Littler also wins

In Short: Luke Humphries and Luke Littler advanced to the third round of the Czech Open, with Humphries defeating Beau Greaves and Littler overcoming Niko Springer.
Luke Humphries, a three-time champion at the Czech Open, secured a 6-2 victory over Beau Greaves, ending the latter's historic run on the European Tour. Greaves had made history by becoming the first woman to win a match on the tour, defeating Daryl Gurney in the first round. Humphries, known for her resilience, said, 'She pushed me all the way, it was a couple of bits towards the end of the match that got me through in the end.
Luke Littler, who won the men's World Matchplay title in July, also progressed, defeating German Niko Springer with a 108.59 average. Littler, making his first major appearance since retaining the World Matchplay title, said, "I've just produced a 108 average, but when I was practising backstage, I couldn't hit anything." His next opponent will be Krzysztof Ratajski.
