Greenwood, the English striker from the Turkish side, was given a one-match suspended ban, which is subject to a one-year probationary period, and fined 30,000 euros (£26,000).
Both players were involved in the fight with Lyon players and coaching staff after the final whistle, leading to their punishments. The incident highlights the tension that can arise in high-stakes matches between rival clubs.
