Dylan Sprouse, a former Disney star, has reignited discussions about the nature of child labor in the entertainment industry, stating that acting as a child was 'child labor.' During a recent interview, he brought up the topic, noting, 'I definitely want to dive in and talk with him a little bit about some of that, how he’s coped growing up in the industry because, essentially, we’re beating around the bush, but it’s child labor,' according to Fox News.

Sprouse, who starred in 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody' as a child, shared insights into his experience, saying, 'I have to sing and dance,' although he clarified, 'I can sing, although I don't like to do it unless it's kind of funny.' He also mentioned the challenges of working in Hollywood now, citing his own 'expletive mental hurdles.

In a podcast interview, Sprouse’s father, Matthew Sprouse, explained, 'My father, Matthew Sprouse, desperately wanted us to be normal kids, and my mother wanted us to be a bit more of a caricature of two normal kids.

Sprouse’s comments come as he and his brother Mark, who also starred in 'The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,' reflect on their childhood in the spotlight, acknowledging the unique pressures and experiences of being child actors.
