US Warns Americans of Escalation as Strikes Hit Iran

The strikes, according to CENTCOM, targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sites in Iran in response to Iran's recent actions, including a failed attempt to add sea mines to the Strait and the shooting of eight missiles at a U.S. military base in Jordan, all of which were successfully intercepted.
In response to the situation, U.S. Navy E/A 18G electronic-warfare aircraft are patrolling the skies over the Middle East, and the U.S. military is enforcing a blockade of Iranian ports.
